FLAN (SPANISH CUSTARD)
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 can evaporated milk (12 oz.)
12 oz. reg. milk
4 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Put all ingredients in blender and blend. Caramel 1/3 cup sugar in the pan you plan to use. Let it run around the bottom of the pan as soon as the sugar is all melted.

Bake in a pan of water at 325 degrees for about 1 hour. Insert dinner knife. If the custard does not cling to the knife, it is done.

Cool and refrigerate. When ready to serve, run a knife around the edge and turn out onto serving dish.

I have been using this recipe for years, and every time it does not fail. Except for the time I forgot to place the pan in the "water bath", LOL. Seriously I get asked over and over for this recipe.

Flan is Mexican, not Spanish.
