1 c. butter (2 sticks)
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
Candied cherries

Cream butter and sugar. Add cream cheese. Add egg, flour and vanilla. Then nuts. Drop by teaspoons onto cookie sheet. Place 1/2 a candied cherry on top. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown.
