REGENA'S CHOCOLATE CHIP BROWNIE
PIE
 
25 chocolate chip cookies
1/2 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. corn syrup
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
2 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. Cool Whip

Cut 5 cookies in half; set aside. Finely crush remaining cookies. Combine cookie crumbs and 1/4 cup melted butter; press on bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate.

In saucepan, heat remaining butter and corn syrup until warm, remove from heat. Beat in eggs, sugar, cocoa and vanilla; pour into crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes; insert cookie halves around edge of pie crust. Bake 10- 15 minutes more. Garnish with Cool Whip.
