NO SHORTENING CHERRY BREAD 
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts
8 oz. maraschino cherries, drained (save juice)

Beat eggs, add sugar and beat again. Add cherry juice and stir. Stir in nuts and cherries. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Stir until moist. Pour in greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
