ESCALLOPED PINEAPPLE 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple, with juice
4 c. white bread crumbs or coarsely torn bread chunks

Cream butter with sugar; add eggs and pineapple. Fold in white bread. Let stand 15 minutes before baking. Bake in buttered casserole 1 hour at 350°F degrees.

For a variation, the casserole may be layered with cheddar cheese or white cheddar. Great as a ham dinner accompaniment.

This casserole may be prepared the night before and baked the next day.

Serves 8 to 10.
