PA DUTCH CABBAGE 
4 c. shredded red cabbage (1 med. head)
2 tbsp. salad oil
2 c. cubed apples
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. caraway seeds
1 1/4 tsp. salt
Dash pepper

Heat oil in large skillet. Add ingredients. Cover and cook over low heat for 15 minutes for crisp or 25-30 minutes for softer cabbage if desired.
