SWEDISH SLAW 
1 head cabbage
1 onion
1 bell pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. mustard
1 tsp. turmeric
1 c. vinegar
1 c. sugar

Chop cabbage, onion and pepper to a very fine size. Add salt, mustard and turmeric. Bring to a boil, vinegar and sugar. Let it reach a rolling boil, then boil for 1 minute. Pour over chopped vegetables and refrigerate. Will keep for 2 weeks.
