"SUPER GOOD" FISH LOAF | |
1 lb. raw halibut, flounder, scrod, scallops, shrimp or combination 2 c. fresh, soft bread crumbs 1 c. cream 1 tsp. salt 4 egg whites, stiffly beaten Chop fish very fine. Soak bread crumbs in cream until it becomes a smooth paste. Add to fish with salt and mix well. Add egg whites and mix again. Bake for 45 minutes in a well buttered loaf pan set in a pan of hot water. Unmold on warm platter and serve with your favorite cream sauce, if desired. |
