1/2 c. dark molasses
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
1 egg
1/3 c. shortening

Cream.

1 3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. flour

Combine egg mixture with dry ingredients. Chill until firm enough to handle easy. Roll out on lightly floured board and cut into gingerbread men. Decorate. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees.
