GEAN'S SCALLOPED POTATOES 
4-5 potatoes pared and sliced thin
3-4 tbsp. butter
Milk
1 lb. Velveeta cheese
Salt and pepper

Put half the potatoes (slice thin) in greased 2-quart or 3-quart casserole dish. Slice the butter thin over the potatoes, then slice or chunk the Velveeta. Pepper a little; if you salt, use very little because the butter and cheese are salty enough.

Then slice the rest of the potatoes and do the same as before, but save a few slices of potatoes to cover the cheese so it won't burn.

Cover with milk. Cover and bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour. Uncover and continue baking until top is brown.
