RICHARD'S CHOCOLATE CAKE | |
1 tbsp. melted butter 1 c. sour milk (1 tbsp. vinegar or lemon juice in 1 c. milk) 2 sq. unsweetened Baker's chocolate, melted 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring 2 c. flour (almost) Blend butter, milk and melted chocolate together. Add sugar, baking soda and flour. Stir. Add vanilla. Beat 1/2 minute. Bake in greased and floured pan (9x13 inch) at 340 degrees for 1/2 hour. Serves 10 t 12. COTTON TOPS Variation (cupcakes) : Use cake recipe above. Pour into cupcake liners (small size is best). Bake at 340 degrees for approximately 12 to 14 minutes. Place 1/2 of a (cut) large marshmallow (sticky side down) on top of each cupcake. Bake 5 to 6 minutes more. |
