APPLE SAUSAGE STUFFING 
1 lb. sweet sausage
1 c. diced bacon
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
3 apples, cored & sliced
1 tsp. sage
1 tsp. thyme
1 bag Pepperidge Farm corn bread stuffing
2 c. chicken broth or 1 can chicken soup
Salt & pepper to taste

In large skillet fry sausage and bacon until crispy brown. Remove sausage and cut into pieces. Replace in skillet and add onions, celery, mushrooms, apples, parsley and seasonings. Saute, stirring occasionally (5 minutes). Stir in bread cubes and chicken broth. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Pour mixture into bowl and cover; cool and stuff turkey or bake in large casserole for side dish 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350 degrees.
