WHITE CHIP CHOCOLATE COOKIES
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2/3 c. baking cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter or Crisco butter
3/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. white chips (I use 1 c.; find it is enough)
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Heat oven to 350°F. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Sift this all together. Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy. Beat in eggs. Then mix flour mixture in slowly. Stir in morsels and nuts. Dough will be very stiff. Drop by teaspoonfuls on a very lightly greased pan or a pan sprayed with Pam spray.

Bake 9 to 11 minutes. Don't overbake. Take out of oven and let stand a few minutes. Then remove and cool.

Makes 4 to 5 dozen, depending on size.
