FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 (9 inch) baked pie shell
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. white corn syrup
1 c. water
2 tbsp. strawberry Jello powder
1 qt. fresh whole strawberries, trimmed & washed

Mix the sugar, cornstarch, syrup and water. Bring to boil and cook until thick and clear. Add the Jello powder, stirring until dissolved. Cool. Arrange whole strawberries to cover the bottom of the baked pie shell. Pour gelatin mixture over the strawberries and chill in refrigerator until sets.
