DADDY'S HAMBURGER SUPREME 
2 lb. ground beef
1 small potato, grated
1 small carrot, grated
1 small onion, chopped
1 egg
2 tbsp. Crisco
1 can golden mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 soup can water
salt, pepper and garlic to taste
1 green pepper, sliced
1 jar diced pimentos

Mix together ground beef, potato, carrot, onion, spices and egg. Shape into patties; brown on both sides in Crisco in a heavy skillet. Remove patties onto a plate with paper towel to absorb grease. Add soup, water and pimentos to skillet, mix well and bring soup mixture to a slow boil. Return patties to skillet, top with green pepper slices and spoon soup mix over top. Cook 45 minutes over a simmering heat on top of stove. If desired, serve with mashed potatoes using gravy over the potatoes.
