GUM DROP CAKE 
2 1/2 c. all purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. raisins
1 sm. bag Gum drops (omit black licorice)
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan (or use coffee cans). Measure all ingredients into large mixing bowl. Blend for 1/2 minute and then mix for 3 minutes. Pour into baking container. Bake for 60 to 65 minutes. Insert wooden toothpick to check for doneness. Cool.
