2 tbsp. salad oil
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. ground ginger
1 can (8 1/4 oz.) crushed pineapple

Hot cooked rice

Brown chicken and sesame seeds in hot oil. Combine sugar, cornstarch and ginger in saucepan; stir in pineapple, water, soy sauce and garlic. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Pour over chicken; cover and simmer until chicken is done (15-30 minutes). Serve over rice.

This has been a favorite of ours for many years.
