FUDGE FULL PEANUT BUTTER BARS | |
1 pkg. yellow Pillsbury cake mix 1/2 c. melted butter 1 c. peanut butter 2 eggs In large bowl, combine cake mix, peanut butter, butter and eggs. Stir by hand until dough holds together. Press 2/3 of dough into bottom of ungreased 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Reserve remaining dough for topping. Prepare filing and spread over cake mix. FILLING: 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces 2 tbsp. butter 1 pkg. Pillsbury coconut pecan or coconut almond frosting mix 1 1/3 c. (14 oz.) can Bordens Eagle Brand Milk In saucepan combine chocolate pieces, milk and butter. Melt over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat, stir frosting mix and spread over dough. Make patties out of reserved dough and lay on top of filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. When cooled a bit cut into bars. About 36 pieces. |
