CHESS PIE 
1 (9 inch) pie shell, unbaked
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. walnuts
4 tbsp. milk
2 eggs, separated

Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten egg yolks and milk. Beat egg whites and fold in with nuts and raisins. Pour into pie shell and bake at 400°F until set (a thin knife inserted in center comes out clean).
