SUNDAY FRENCH TOAST | |
8 slices French bread, cut 3/4 inch thick 4 eggs 1 c. milk 2 tbsp. Grand Marnier of orange juice 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. sugar Arrange bread in single layer in baking dish. Beat eggs with milk and add other ingredients. Pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Saute bread until golden in hot skillet or fry pan. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar and-or maple syrup. Great to make breakfast easy when you have guests. Makes 4. |
