1 lg. pkg. Oreo or Choco Mint sandwich cookies
1/3 c. butter (opt.)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 lg. 12 oz. carton whipped topping
2 (3 1/2 oz.) boxes instant vanilla pudding
3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Crush 1/2 of cookies and combine with optional butter or put in 9"x13" pan. Mix cream cheese and butter until smooth with electric mixer. Mix in powdered sugar. Fold in whipped topping. In separate bowl mix pudding, milk and vanilla. Fold in cream cheese mixture and pour into pan on cookie crumbs. Crush remaining cookies and sprinkle on top. Refrigerate.
