UNCOOKED CRANBERRY APPLE RELISH
SAUCE
 
1 lg. orange quartered and seeded
1 lb. (4 c.) fresh or frozen and slightly thawed cranberries
1 1/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 lg. apple, finely chopped
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Put orange and cranberries through the coarse blade of a food grinder or chop orange and cranberries coarsely, mix. Put about 1/4 of the mixture at a time in electric blender container, blend until very finely chopped, stir in remaining ingredients, cover and refrigerate. Makes about 1 1/2 quart.
