LEMON POUND CAKE 
1 box confectioners' sugar, sifted
1 box sifted flour measured in sugar box
6 eggs
3/4 lb. butter (3 sticks)
1 tbsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. lemon flavoring

Cream butter and sugar together. Add flour and 1 egg at a time. Do not overbeat. Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees. You can use lemon glaze or as plain cake.

LEMON GLAZE:

1 box powdered sugar
1/2 c. lemon juice

Mix and pour over warm cake while in the pan.
