RHUBARB SURPRISE FLOAT 
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. milk

Sift dry ingredients. Cream butter. Add sugar and cream again. Add egg; beat well. Add dry ingredients and milk alternately. Pour into 8 x 8 inch pan. Mix the following ingredients and pour over the dough. 3/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 c. boiling water
