CHOCOLATE FLOAT CAKE 
1 c. flour
3/4 c. white sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

SYRUP:

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 3/4 c. hot water
4 tbsp. cocoa

Mix all dry ingredients together. Add vanilla, milk and butter. Mix well. Pour into greased 8 x 8 pan. Mix ingredients for syrup together in small saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil syrup for 5 minutes.

Pour syrup over cake. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve warm with ice cream.
