CHERRY SURPRISE FLOAT | |
1/4 c. melted butter 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/3 - 1/2 c. milk 1 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 1/2 c. tart cherries, drained (reserve juice) 1/3 c. sugar 1/2 reserved cherry juice Cream butter and sugar (1/2 cup). Add vanilla. To creamed mixture alternately add milk with flour, salt and baking powder. Put batter in greased 7"x11" pan. Mix together cherries, sugar and juice. Pour over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. |
