TEXAS CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sour cream

FROSTING:

6 tbsp. milk
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts (optional)

CAKE: Bring first 3 ingredients to boil. Remove from heat. Add hot to remaining ingredients. Pour into greased and floured jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Frost immediately upon removing from oven.

FROSTING: Bring first 3 ingredients to boil. Remove and beat in sugar and vanilla. Add nuts, if desired. Pour quickly over cake while both frosting and cake are hot. Let cool before cutting.
