SWISS CHICKEN-HAM BAKE 
1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
1 c. light cream
2 tbsp. dry sherry
2 c. cubed cooked chicken or turkey
1 c. cubed cooked ham
1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
3 tbsp. butter, melted

Cook onion in the 2 tablespoons butter until onion is tender, but not brown. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add undrained mushrooms, cream and sherry. Cook and stir until thickened. Add chicken, ham and water chestnuts.

Pour into a 1 1/2 quart casserole; top with cheese. Mix crumbs and melted butter and sprinkle around edge of casserole. Bake in hot oven 400 until lightly brown, about 25 minutes.
