SWISS CHICKEN HAM BAKE 
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
1 c. light cream
2 tbsp. dry sherry
2 c. cubed, cooked chicken or turkey
1 c. cubed, cooked ham
1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
3 tbsp. butter melted

Cook onion in 2 tablespoons butter until tender. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add undrained mushrooms, cream and sherry. Cook and stir until thickened. Add chicken, ham and water chestnuts. Pour into a 1 1/2 quart casserole; top with cheese. Mix crumbs and melted butter and sprinkle around edge of casserole. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Serves 6.
