1/4 c. butter (stick)
3/4 c. shortening
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. milk
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Cream shortening, butter and add sugar and eggs. Mix. Add milk and vanilla. sift and add the flour, baking powder and soda. Mix. Chill about 4 hours. Put flour on board and roll out cookies. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. Cool and frost.
