SAUCY FRANKS 
1 lb. frankfurters (8 to 10)
2 tbsp. butter
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. water
3 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 lemon, thinly sliced (or 1 tbsp. lemon juice)
1/2 onion, thinly sliced
1/4 c. chopped green pepper (optional)

Cut hot dogs into bite size chunks and brown them lightly in butter in a skillet. Add remaining ingredients, except green pepper. Simmer, covered, about 10 minutes. Add green pepper and cook, covered, 5 minutes longer.

Serve over cooked noodles or over buns. OR cook noodles first and put cooked noodles and all the other ingredients into a crock pot. Cook on low for up to 5 or 6 hours. Serves 4 to 5.
