TEXAS SHEETCAKE | |
4 tbsp. cocoa 1 c. water 2 sticks butter 1/2 c. sour cream 2 eggs 2 c. sugar 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt Combine cocoa, water and butter in large pan and bring to boil on stovetop. Add remaining ingredients and stir until well blended. Pour into greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Frost when completely cooled. FROSTING: 6 tbsp. butter, softened 1/2 c. cocoa 2 2/3 c. confectioners sugar 1/3 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla extract In small bowl, cream butter. Add cocoa and confectioners sugar alternating with milk; beat to spreading consistency. Blend in vanilla. |
