GERMAN POTATO SALAD | |
6 med.-sized potatoes, cooked 4 strips bacon 1/4 c. chopped onion 1/4 c. chopped celery 1/4 c. water 1/2 c. vinegar 1/2 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. paprika 1/4 tsp. dry mustard (optional) Slice potatoes while hot (with or without jackets). Fry bacon until crisp and crumble. Add and saute until brown the onions and celery. Heat water to boiling point and add vinegar, sugar, salt, paprika, dry mustard. Pour these ingredients into skillet and combine with potatoes. Serve hot. Sehr gut. |
