GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
6 to 8 potatoes, boiled, peeled and cut in cubes
3 to 4 eggs, hard boiled
1 onion, grated
6 to 8 slices of bacon, cut to bite size and fried saving the fat
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 c. white vinegar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
Salt and pepper to taste

In the frying pan used to cook bacon, add the flour, dry mustard to bacon fat. Add vinegar and water and boil one minute. Add sugar to taste. Add potatoes, onion, salt and pepper. Mix well. Lastly, add grated or chopped eggs over top of mixture then mix well. Serve hot. Serves 6 to 8.
