PEPPER STEAK 
1 lb. round or chuck steak
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 c. green onions, sliced (including tops)
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. paprika
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. beef broth
2 green peppers, cut in strips
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. soy sauce

Partially thaw frozen steak (easier to slice) and slice into strips. Sprinkle with paprika and let stand while preparing other ingredients. Using large skillet, brown meat in butter. Add garlic and broth. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Stir in onions and green peppers, cover and cook 5 more minutes. Blend cornstarch, water and soy sauce together; stir into meat mixture. Cook and stir about 2 minutes until clear and thickened. Serve over rice. This can be prepared in crock pot. Just brown steak then put all ingredients in crock pot for 2 to 3 hours. Serves 6.
