CREAM CHEESE STRUDEL 
2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks)
2 c. flour
1 jar Currant jelly or apricot jam
1/2 c. walnuts, finely chopped
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cinnamon
Confectioners sugar

Cream together softened butter and cream cheese. Gradually stir in flour until completely mixed. Place in bowl, cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight. Divide dough in 2 parts and roll out each part into very thin rectangles. Brush with currant jelly or strained apricot ham and sprinkle with the chopped nuts, sugar, and cinnamon mixture. Roll up like a jelly roll, making a tight roll. Seal edges and ends well. Bake at 400 degrees on ungreased cookie sheet until lightly browned, about 10 minutes. Cut into slices.
