NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST | |
5 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 lb. lard or 2 c. shortening 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1 egg 6 tsp. vinegar Work lard, flour, baking powder sugar and salt until crumbly. Put vinegar and egg into measuring cup and fill with water to make 3/4 cup. Beat lightly and add flour mixture. Keep refrigerated and use as needed. |
