LAZY CHEESE BREAD 
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. lukewarm water
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2/3 c. low fat milk (scalded & cooled)
2 tbsp. oil
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
1 c. white flour
1 c. rye or whole wheat flour

Soften yeast in water and add ginger and sugar. Let set 10 minutes. Add cooled milk, oil, salt and cheese. Mix well and stir in flour. (Dough will be sticky.)

Put dough in a well-greased 1 pound coffee can. Place lid on loosely and let it rise until dough touches lid. Remove lid and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
