CHRISTMAS PIE 
2 c. cranberries
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. melted butter (1 stick)
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
Dash salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. Crisco oil
1 c. sifted flour

Grease 10 inch pie plate. Spread cranberries evenly over bottom of pie plate. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar and walnuts.

In a medium size bowl, beat eggs and 1 cup sugar. In egg mixture add flour, butter, oil, vanilla and salt; mix well with electric beater. Pour this mixture over cranberry nut mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
