SUNDAY PIE 
1 pkg. (3 1/2 oz.) Jello lemon pudding & pie filling
1 env. unflavored gelatin
1 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. water
2 tbsp. lemon juice
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
1 tbsp. butter
1 env. Dream Whip whipped topping mix
1 baked fluted 9" pie shell, cooled

Combine pie filling mix, gelatin, sugar, 1/4 cup of the water and the lemon juice in saucepan. Blend in egg yolks. Add remaining water. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to full boil. Remove from heat; add lemon rind and butter.

Beat egg whites until soft peaks form; gradually fold in hot pie filling. Cover with waxed paper; chill. Prepare whipped topping mix as directed on package; blend 1 cup into chilled pie filling. Pour into pie shell; chill until set. Garnish with remaining whipped topping and lemon slices if desired.
