STRING BEANS AND BACON 
1 1/2 lbs. fresh string beans
8 slices bacon, cut up
3 med. onions, sliced
1 can stewed tomatoes

Cook beans but not too soft. Fry bacon and when almost done, add sliced onions and saute with bacon until tender. Drain beans and add to bacon and onions. Drain some juice from tomatoes and add to other ingredients in frying pan. Salt and pepper to taste and heat very thoroughly.
