BROCCOLI CHEESE SOUP 
2 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. chopped onion
6 c. water
6 chicken bouillon cubes
12 oz. egg noodles
1 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen broccoli
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
4 c. milk
1 lb. Cheddar cheese, cubed

Saute onion in butter about 3 minutes. Add water and bouillon to onion. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally until bouillon is dissolved. Gradually add noodles and salt so mixture continues to boil. Cook uncovered for 3 minutes. Stir in broccoli and garlic powder. Cook for 4 minutes more. Add milk, cheese, pepper and continue cooking until cheese melts, stirring constantly.
