BROCCOLI - CHEESE SOUP 
1 tsp. butter
1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
3 cans chicken broth
5 c. fine noodles
1 tsp. salt
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen chopped broccoli
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
6 c. milk
1 lb. Velveeta cheese

Saute onions in butter; add chicken broth and bring to boil. Add noodles and salt; cook 3 minutes. Add broccoli and garlic powder; cook 3 minutes. Add milk and cheese; heat until cheese melts.

P.S. I use bouillon cubes if I don't have chicken broth. Cube cheese, it melts faster.
