1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1/2 c. butter
2 cans cherry pie filling
1 c. nutmeats, chopped

Spoon cherry pie filling into a 9x13 cake pan. Mix cake mix and butter until crumbly. Spread over the pie filling. Sprinkle nutmeats over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes. Serve with Cool Whip or whipped cream.
