TIPSY MEATBALLS 
1 lb. chopped meat (hamburger)
1 egg
Dash of salt and pepper
2 med. onions, chopped
1/4 c. bread crumbs
1 (17 oz.) bottle catsup
1 can beer
2 tbsp. sweet relish
2 tbsp. butter

Prepare meatballs by combining meat, crumbs, egg and seasonings. Saute onions in butter. Add beer to onions plus relish and catsup. Simmer over low heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Sauce will thicken. After 1 hour, add uncooked meatballs and simmer 1 more hour. 16 balls.
