WALNUT CHEESE WAFERS (MICROWAVE) 
1 (8 oz.) jar process cheese spread
6 tbsp. butter, softened
1 1/4 c. flour
Pinch of cayenne pepper
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Blend cheese, butter, flour and cayenne pepper until smooth. Divide mixture in half and place on 2 sheets of wax paper. Roll up to form 2 (6 inch) logs. Refrigerate until firm.

Unwrap logs and roll in chopped nuts to coat. Cut each log into 24 (1/4 inch) pieces. Arrange 12 pieces in a circular pattern on a paper plate. Microwave for 3 to 3 1/2 minutes. Let stand (out of microwave) 1 minute before removing from plate with spatula. Repeat with remaining pieces.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
