SCALLOPED POTATOES 
10-12 lg. potatoes (approx. 5 lb.)
1/2 c. butter
2 cans cream of mushroom or chicken soup
Chopped onions
1 pt. sour cream
Chopped ham, optional
1/2 lb. grated sharp cheese
Salt & pepper to taste

Cook the potatoes whole with skins on. Let cool, peel the skins then grate the potatoes.

Melt the butter in a large pot, add soup, onions, salt, pepper and sour cream. Add ham and grated cheese; mix well. Then add grated potatoes. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes or can be all put in the crock pot and cooked all day on low.
