VENISON STEAK | |
Venison steaks Salt and Pepper All purpose flour 2 or 3 tbsp. olive oil or canola oil Remove any of the white outer edges that may have been left on with a sharp knife. Place steaks on a large cutting board and tenderize by beating steaks with a knife on both sides or using meat tenderizer. Sprinkle the steaks on each side lightly with salt and pepper. Coat steaks with flour. Heat skillet on medium heat and add oil. Gently place steaks in hot oil and cook on medium heat turning as they brown. Steaks may need to be turned more than once. When steaks are well done and browned nicely, remove to serving platter. Garnish with red peppers (cayenne or jalapeno-either fresh or dried). |
