CHIPPED BEEF POT PIE 
1 c. chopped onion
1/2 oz. pkg. dried beef, cut up
1/4 c. hot fat
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. thinly sliced carrots
2 c. thinly sliced potatoes
2 c. water
1 beef bouillon cube

Saute onions and beef in hot fat. Stir in flour, seasonings. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Pour hot mixture into 2 quart casserole and top with pie crust. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
