1 pkg. hot or reg. Italian sausage (at least 6 sausages) 2 lg. bunches of fresh mustard greens (rinsed well) Boil greens in water. At the same time, cut the sausage in bite-size pieces and fry them. When fully cooked, drain fat. Add 1 small can of tomato sauce (a second small can if you like extra tomato taste), to sausage. Drain mustard greens and add to meat and sauce. Cook for another 10-15 minutes on stove. (Add a little water with tomato sauce, then let it boil down some in the 10-15 minutes. |
